Vinny,

Look for a Mercedes 722.6 dipstick on eBay. Don't buy from Mopar. I got mine for under $30! Don't know about trans coolers, but Builder Bill says that heat is the enemy. IMO even a stock SRT8 will benefit from a bigger cooler. B & M?

Vinny look at doing the MB blue solenoids and adding a deeper tranny pan with some amsoil atf. The firmer and quicker the shift the better on your transmission

Amsoil is the best oil out thats all i use now since my dad became a dealer for that. blue solenoids u think i could do that? is there a how to change them thanks for the help.Ill check ebay for that dipstick.

Best price found was at parts.com ($144.90 each).

FYI you will not find the part if you search via the Mercedes-Benz catalog on parts.com. Click on "Site Map", then "Part number Search" under the OEM Factory Catalogs column. Finally, enter the part# and "Mercedes-Benz" in the Select Make box and search.

This list provides Mercedes part numbers for items useful to NAG1/722.5&6 owners.

This allows checking the fluid level without having to use the starscan for tranny temps.

Yup Chad is right guys!! I ordered everything from that place and used all the Mercedes part numbers and got everything in a week. Hoping to get these blue tops installed in the next week or so and expect a 500.00 bill on just the parts when ordering them.

The MB trans disptick is a little better but still kinda the same boat when trying to read it. Generally, when using the OEM 'stick, at operating temperature, the fluid level should be right around the 70 mark.
To save a couple bucks, you can get the filter and gasket from most local parts stores for around 15 bucks as well
