BWoody is currently promoting the usage on this part for lowered Jeeps hopefully this corrects the front camber / caster

 

I have this on mine...I have the Road Magnet Aggressive springs. If I recall...the kit pushes the camber out about 1.5 degrees. Still not enough for me with the Aggressive springs...I am thinking I'm going to go to the Mid-Level springs...

 

I just made the switch to Mid-Level and where it didn't fix the camber issue in the front as much as I thought it would...the ride is 100% better...

The SPC "kit" does not "fix" the issue...it only provides like you said, about 1.5 degrees...but with the Aggressive springs it's still not even close to enough IMO

 

Ah man I'm just determined to get the most tire footprint ratio possible. I am going to try it once the springs arrive right now my bald tires at stock height it just hovers all over the lane ..

 

The SPC camber kit and our rear control arms will take care of all of the alignment issues after installation of most lowering spring kits.

 

I am looking as to where does this part go what does it replace I don't see where ... Anyone mind chiming in

 

Finally dropped but concerned for th service light for the suspension keeps coming on .. Anyone had this similar issue it, doesn't remain on but does sporadically appear

If you're talking about the SPC kit, it doesn't replace anything, just bolts right on!

 

What's your camber in the front? My front is at -1.8 with the 1.8" drop so if I can get 1.5 out of the SPC kit it would be good

I'm am also interested in the camber kit but we need more info. I'm at -2 deg so if I put this kit on, what will it reduce the camber by? .5? .25?

Your ad says a range of +/- 1.5 deg but I don't believe this kit is adjustable correct?

I have the SPC camber kit from Bwoody and didn't need it with my RM mid drop springs.

 

Where dose the part bolt on to???

 

I received this kit. It attaches to the front lower control arm bolt and has an essentric nut and washer to allow for more adjustment. They say 1-1.5 +/- from your current setup which seems about right to me. I'll install it later this week and see.

I'm at -2 degrees and want to go back to -1. The problem I might see with this kit is it only adjusts the front mount of the control arm whereas the back mount will be different. This might in turn affect the toe in a major way. This is why most camber plates attach from a single point on the top control arm or at the top of the strut housing so the toe (front to back) isn't off.

Doesn't the front control arm only have one bolt, it is 420 so please bare with me

So, here's the deal on these. I bought them and did not install them. They don't allow for additional camber above and beyond what the OEM design allows for. They DO provide an easier way to adjust the OEM camber and they DO "lock" the camber bolt/nut in place. Apparently after many miles, hard use or big potholes, the camber bolt/nut can slip out of place which changes your alignment. I personally haven't had this problem.

This kit locks that camber setting in place. I get this and will keep this kit and install for that reason since it's a cheap kit.

The disappointment is it DOES NOT give you MORE or LESS camber. When I called Bwoody before buying this kit, I was pretty specific in this request and thought I got the right answer, hence the purchase. I've asked Bwoody to update this parts page to reconcile with my request and experience.

For the record, I have RM 1.8" front springs and can not get any less than -2 degrees of camber. My OEM camber adjustment is maxed out and will not give me less than that. I was hoping this kit could do that. We'll all have to wait until an upper ball adjustment or upper camber plate is made for this vehicle.

 

Please let us know how your BWoody adjustable ball joints worked out for you.

My alignment ended up at -1.9 (iirc, paperwork not in front of me) in the front with RM lows, so looking forward to whatever you guys came come up with!

Please clarify where on your site can we find the adjustable ball joint seems to be interesting .

I've never lost alignment on my aggressives just the camber looks more aggressive I blame the weight settled on the springs but does still handle well

I need those end links and I think I should be solid ..

 

As a followup, I installed the SPC lower arm kit and the new Bwoody upper adjustable ball joints. All works very well now. I had a minimum of -2 degrees of front camber with my setup and wanted to be in the -1 degree arena. The ball joints got me back to roughly zero degrees and from there I was able to fine tune the alignment with the lower control arm adjustments (SPC kit). These ball joints are good quality and a great product for someone needing to REDUCE your negative camber on this vehicle. Mike has been very helpful during this process and I appreciate his support. I'm in no way affiliated with Bwoody or have reason to market their products. I simply had a problem which I was able to work with Mike on a solution and execute.

Haha now where can I find this ball joint because I got the BWoody Camber arms in the rear and I am literally at almost 0 camber degree out back. Just need the fronts ! They angle like I am about to take off
