I'm having some trobule with my left tail lamp. When the headlights are on the rear tail does not work..including signal. But with them off, I can signal just fine and the indicator works. so I know the bulb is fine. Is it a fuse problem or a relay problem? does anyone know where the fuse is for this? thank you.

these are a common problem on the WJ's. The circuit board on the tailamp assembly where the bulbs connect too short out or does not get good contact. Check the terminal connection on yours and see if there are any "burn" marks on them. If they do, try cleaning them out or scrape it off and retry it. If that doesn't work, you need a new assembly.
thanks guys, I checked the contacts and it is fine. I see the problem now is the light will not go on when I turn on the headlights at all. Any ideas?
