I used a plastic putty knife to remove the fromt lip and all the trim. Slide it under one corner and push a little and it should cut the adhesive enough to slow lift up. It's only held down with tape..

 

just take a long razor blade knife and take your time, this will cut the tape be careful not to get your paint maybe put some masking tape along the front edge

 

Jc how much it was if you don't mind? I need a new one because mine has rock chips in it.

The chrome insert I bought didn't come with any mounting tape...should it have? If not, is there a part # for the tape that I should be looking for? Thanks to all.

 

I just ordered one and it has 2 big tabs on the bottom and 3 across the back. My new bumper has the slots for the 3 across the back, but none on the bottom. Do I just break those tabs off? And then 3M adhesive tape it down?

Did you figure out how to install the new chrome piece? Did you need some sort of double sided tape?

 

Yes, piece of cake. I broke off those tabs, and used double-sided tape. Worked just fine. Looks good.
