Magnus Motorsports did three pulls. One graph shows all three in SAE and one graph shows all three in STD. They told me that they already knew the stock tune was very good and with no mods should be left as is. It was an AWD Dynojet with an adjustable rack built in to the floor. Only shop that I found that could do an AWD dyno test on a Jeep in my area. They specialize in imports and crazy arse GTRs. They have an AWD Eagle Talon 4 cyl that they say runs 7 sec 1/4s. There was a brand new M3 with 600whp on the dyno when I arrived that they’d flown in a tuner from Europe. He was skipping rope in the shop...lol. They had CNC machines and were making their own parts. All in all, great guys, a great shop and a really fun experience. I didn’t think it was appropriate that I got an erection when I saw and heard my baby strapped down and roaring on the dyno although the dyno technician said that’s quite normal...lol.

They put the suspension in track mode and turned off the traction control on the dash. They said if it was left in auto mode they would expect to see slightly lower numbers.
Show you the diff between the 6.1 and 6.4 bone stock my 6.1 on a AW DYNOJET put out 342 hp & 352 tq on 91 gas and 368 hp & 382 tq with cai and custom cmr dyno tune on 91 gas. Bone stock in 1/8 mile with 91 gas it ran 8.39 and with cai, tune and 98 gas it ran 7.95. Race wt on 07 6.1 was 5190 and race wt on MY 12 6.4 was 5492 lbs. LOOKS LIKE YOU GOT A GOOD MOTOR.

They showed me very similar numbers to yours on a WK1. They had stock numbers and also after pretty much the same mods as yours. I have 94 gas in the tank. When I went to the track (80 degrees, really humid) it ran 8.453 1/8 mile, 1.961 60’ and 13.145 1/4 @ 104.78mph. Another stock 2015 owner on this site ran a 12.8 sec 1/4 mile in St. Thomas, Ontario in 60 degree weather. Want to try mine with cool temps!

What you really need is a 50/50 unleaded race gas mix of vp109 and your 94 for the track. Just stop 5 miles from the track with 1/8 tank of 94 then pour in 2.5 gal vp109 then drive to the track and it will be mixed and in the fuel rails and you be ready to go. This will help stop the pcm from pulling timing.

Thanks for the tips Jim! I’m really excited to try the fuel mixture you suggested and now the weather will start to get cooler. Fun to drive a pretty much stock Jeep that can run 12s, eh?! Crazy how fast vehicles are getting when 35 years ago a 14 second street car was considered pretty good and 13 seconds was usually top dawg on the block :)

I had a 68 notchback Barracuda 318 full of bondo when I was 16. First car. I cooked the 904 and 8.25. Rebuilt a 340 out of a Duster my buddy rolled and put it in in my parents' driveway along with 727 and 3.23 8.75. My buddy was and still is a genius. I knew nothing....lol. It ran 14.4. Can't recall the speed. I loved that car until one night my state of the art all wheel drums couldn't stop before the ditch arrived... Hey I know! I should get another one!

Nice pulls on the dyno. Looks like only a 16% loss thru the drivetrain. That's not too shabby either...

I posted in another thread that I'm going to St Thomas on Sat Sept 26. When I had my Mustang I was part of the GTAMC forums (still belong actually). They're having a grudge day that Saturday and I've lined up 3 races with 2 Mustangs and a Challenger. Going to t&t also.

I met OntarioSRT8 at St Thomas last Sunday, he told me that Authentic Performance is having a track day at St Thomas on Friday October 9th. I may take the day off and meet him there too.

It would be great to see you there on either day if you can make it!

Back at Magnus Motorsports to check my Jeep since being Demonized in South Carolina. Purdy much 580 awhp & 530 ft-lbs of torque. Check out the YouTube video. Also shows the stock numbers at the end of the clip. Demon kit and Kooks exhaust. And to be straight I would love to see the difference with this kit on a 15 with stock exhaust. I love my exhaust but it is louder and some of the sleeper affect is lost although I find there is no shortage of victims wanting to pick on the brick...pick on the brick...hey, kinda sounds like an old Ramones tune...no wait, that was Beat on the Brat...pretty much the same....lol!!!! Enjoy!

I had it dyno’d stock before I left so I would have base hp & tq numbers. The install was prepared ahead of time and they were ready for me when I drove down to Demon Performance in South Carolina. They started Monday 10am and finished Wednesday as far as installing the sc kit and full Kooks exhaust plus headers. The tuning was done via data logging and email with Johan in Florida for a couple days before I left for home. I had a week’s vacation in Hilton Head and left for home on the Friday as SC was having rain & flooding problems. Driving home in a 15 SC’d SRT was a blast and it was smooth sailing! I have datalogged a bunch for Johan since my return home and he’s continued to fine tune. No codes or problems so far and I’m thrilled with the results and my tuner and Demon Performance seem pleased too. It drives like normal but is a little peppier than before...

On our Mustang dyno, we managed to pull of 404awhp, but that may be due the type of petrol we get in Kuwait.

With full bolt-ons and a custom tune, we managed to pull of 488awhp!!

I used to run the guy in my ML63 around 1-1/2 bus lengths when he was stock, after mods he was right at my bumper!

These motors are very stout.
