Who in the eff buys a srt jeep to get good mpg's?!?!

i've seen lists before and now i just saw another today on yahoo i believe... "Vehicles you dont want to own during the gas crisis" and of course the jeep srt is on the list... WK2 looking REALLY good by the way!

ha i'm just tired of hearing about it... i know i didn't buy my rig to visit the pumps less often... and i don't think anyone who buys one of these beasts are too worried about MPG's... you cant keep your foot out of the pedal... theres no way to get good MPG's in my eyes... haha its too fun to get bad gas mileage :rofl:

I have had people comment to me at the dealership like "oh I see you don't mind the gas prices" I tell them "I haven't been paying attention to them for years now, I could care less what they are". I pull up, swipe the card, fill up, record the amount on my checking app on my iPhone and drive away. No second thoughts.

If you're worried about gas prices and MPG, ride a bike. I pay for my car and want to enjoy what I drive. What's the point of having to pay for something for 5-6 years that you don't like use because you get a few more MPGs?

I've been clocking about 6.5 mpg the last week or so.... Not worried, for now. lol

last year I posted a picture of my TBSS showing 9.8 mpg on facebook, man did it get a lot of comments. IT was on Earth Day...Happy Earth Day

lol! hilarious... ha i feel like there is enough tree huggers out there driving those gay ass rollerskate looking hybrids that we are more than fine burning up gas the way we do. i'll guarandamntee that they dont have the smile on their face driving that hybrid like i do while hopping in my beast... EVERYTIME i get behind the wheel!

I don't worry about it cause I don't get any . But I get asked all the time when I fill her up .Like Grand ma said if you have to ask you can't afford it

Hell my SRT gets better MPG than my R/T Durango and my Super Charged Shelby Durango did and close to what my current 2003 4.7 Durango gets and much better gas mileage than my old V10 Ram got so ill never ever complain lol

i do get better mileage than my old supercharger mustang, and i can carry more people, while watching a dvd, listening to sat radio, playing with navigation and not burning my feet from header heat. Upgrade!!

I didn't buy it to get GOOD mileage, but I did buy it to get BETTER mileage. I had a Ram SRT-10 qc before the jeep, and while I knew what I was getting into with the truck, it still sucked to shell out $100 every fillup. The jeep does 4 mpg better, saves me about $65-70 a month. Plus the jeep was $400 cheaper a year on insurance. Couldn't be happier!

yeah the wife and I went to a dealership cause she wants something new and we pull up in the jeep, c0cky sales guy says "that must get terrible mpg, gonna trade it in?" I replied "you keep your shit boxes of boredom, I get plenty of SMILES per gallon" ... poor wife just rolled her eyes and we left.

lol!!! that is fantastic! i work at a toyota store... and i can definetly hear a salesman trying to pull that line... i am litteraly going to vomit if one more person comes in for a prius! that's the problem with these salesmen these days... THEY ARE NOT CAR GUYS! they dont' know $h!t about cars!

I've noticed I've lost about 2 mpg since my fuel system and driveline upgrades.

Not sure if its the bigger injectors or the converter/trans.

Either way I still love my jeep.
