So I have a 2014 SRT that had the spider monkey black chrome wheels which did not appeal to me.
I ordered the VMB5 from Velgen and had them stripped and powdercoated Evo grey and paired them up with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3+ in 295’s. I was very pleased with the outcome.

And how were you able to get the AS3’s?!?!? I was looking for them a few months ago and they were sold out EVERYWHERE!

I bought them at online from Discount Tire and had them shipped to a local store. I didn’t run into any delays, but then again, that was several months back.

Copy that… from my understanding, they stopped making them in our size and are replacing them with AS4’s

We don’t have jack s*** to choose from in our size! I guess I got them at the tail end of their production run.

Pirelli did the same thing with the scorpion all season plus 2. They were discontinued once their plus 3 line got rolling. My summit will eventually need tires, so i’m debating between sticking with the original scorpion verde all seasons, or going with the new AS Plus 3’s.

I went with the Continental DWS. They aren’t run flats and are almost $200 less per tire than the Pirellis
