I've started researching Forced Induction for my 2014 and will continue doing so until my warranty expires within the next year or two. Regardless if I decide on a Turbo or Supercharger, I don't believe I would run more than 8lbs of Boost. From the information I've gathered so far it looks like the Pistons are the primary 'weak-link' with these 6.4 Hemi's when adding Forced Induction. (I know these engines have a higher combustion ratio, but I've also read these 6.4 Hemi's have weaker Pistons than the 6.1 Hemi's) I wasn't planning on changing any of the Internals and just keeping the Boost below 8lbs. But to be on the safe side it looks like at the very least it will need Forged Pistons. I understand the fuel-injectors, fuel-pump, etc, will need to be changed.
What Forged Pistons are recommended for these engines?
I'm trying to gather as much information and knowledge as possible before investing into this project.
