Anyone noticed that TrueCar's price is cheap as hell? They list dealers as being willing to sell the 2012 SRT, with the luxury pack, for $58k (I coulda swore it was $53k the other day). That's their "pre-approved" price that the dealerships supposedly agree to sell at to people referred through TrueCar.

Anyone tried getting a dealer to do this? I think they're contractually obligated to honor the price due to their agreement with TrueCar. It might not work but worth a shot for anyone interested.

I was just going to post about this, I tried true car, received a quote from 3 dealerships and all said they would honor the price.mi post a snapshot of the email later.

I tried true car and they gave me $58770 for a Jeep with Luxury group 2 & Audio and $60991 w/ rear DVD system.

I used Truecar to find a dealer that would sell the SRT8 for MSRP (I live in the LA market where most dealers have $5-$20K markups, if they have one). It's a great service!

I'm seeing about $58k from 2 local dealers, haven't followed up to see exactly how much sticker price is.
