Trinity & Predator not Recognizing when turning key OFF

Ok fellas i need some suggestion and opinions here . This is hapening with both trinity and Predator .. Took me almost an hour to unmarried my trinity as when THE TUNE IS DONE WRITING AND WHEN ASKS TO TURN KEY OFF it basically stays there loading back and fourth "TURN KEY OFF" I once left it there with key on , when i was back it finally said tool reset . So same goes with the predator ( basically not a tool issue , maybe car related ? ) So now i have a tune loaded in the car and i had to simply unplug the predator while it was still asking to " turn key off " . Basically tune is loaded fine as car feels fine and logs looks good ( Every time I plug in the predator it tells me FILE WASN'T LOADED CORRECTLY , BACK UP FILE WILL BE LOADED NOW ) So i simply press Back and it clears out . ALSO Changing Axle Ratio requires to turn key off , so same stuff happens there . I will also follow up with a video demonstrating the procedure . Any help and ideas would be gladly appreciated .

Got me stumped on this one bro......WTF could it be?
Mine started giving me the same probs of not seeing key cycles, I changed the battery and all worked again. Apparently the tuners are very sensitive to voltage. Makes sense since it winter and battery drain is common. Check if your battery is starting to go.

Do you leave it plugged up all the time? Just saw that threads saying leaving the trinity plugged in while it is cold out could affect something.
I had the same issue and it has to go to a complete successful cycle to reset that. I had the same issue and think I had to update the CROM, but regardless, had to let it reset, upgrade the tool, copy my custom tune back to it, then go from there. I will look in my emails to see if I can find the reason.

Have to check on it , it started happening before , as I now did intact had a battery issue . I will try to reset the tool like Ekaz mention .

Nah never Johnny .

Thanks for the input , will try that .
Seen this issue on a few 07s (not sure if year actually matters) When it says turn key off, it doesn't see the key flip... If you leave it on that screen with the key off, it will eventually see it, may take up to 10 minutes. From my experiences, its the predator & not the car (although it could be). Maybe Diablosport can offer some insight....

Thanks for the info Jim , this is how I'm getting it done , I've seeing it take up to 20 min , BUT the interesting part is that its happening with both Trinity and Predator .
The reason it is doing it is because of the radio. It says in the instruction manual to pull three fuses before doing any tuning. But the way I avoid pulling the fuses and have a successful install is to leave the driver door open and turn the interior lights off on the turn signal switch. The reason being for all this is after you turn the key off the radio stays on for 15 min or until a door opens. Mine is a 07 also. Hope this solves your issue.

Thanks everyone for the input , well basically after installed the ESM i tried it and it was still screw up . I reloaded the tune with the predator yesterday and it took 10 minutes and then finally the Turn key on Popped up .. Has being fine since .. Trinity also works with no issue .
Beats the hell out of me .. just glad it's working .. My Guess the BAD ESM ( Electronic shifter module )
Boy that is odd. Especially for 2 different tools to be doing it, kinda sounds like a possible wiring/harness issue in the truck...
Yah mike , I ran it down with johan and even him found it strange . I'm almost 100% sure that the ESM was the issue as lots of odd stuff that was happenig with the truck is now fixed including the trinity & Predator issue . Glad is all good now .
Glad you got it fixed bro.
