I’m trying to get some new tires for my jeep 2012SRT8, right now I have the original 295/45r/20, I’m trying to see if I can fit some 295/40/20 all around ,Is it going to make any difference? As far as driving.thanks In advance

Going to a 295/40/20 will decrease the overall tire height by 1.16" or 3.8%. This will have the same effect as lowering your gear ratio by 3.8%. 3.73:1 + 3.8% = 3.87:1. It won't make any noticeable difference except your rpm's will be slightly higher at highway speeds.
