My 2014 Jeep SRT has the same ticking sound. Ticking disappears for 30-60 seconds at a time and will then start ticking again.

The ticking noise is not related to the motor and does not increase or decrease with engine rpm like many other noises discussed on this forum . The noise is coming from under the dash firewall area.
