I'm buying some 22" reps soon and have been thinking about getting 285/35/22 all around (22x9/10 combo). I think 295/30/22 profile looks a bit thin (29.0" tall). 285's would be 29.9" tall (265/35/22 are 29.3"). I actually had 265/50/20 295/45/20 (30.5" tall) when I bought the truck and it rode much better, but the tire profile made the 20's look small (also got 17 mpg on the highway).

285/35/22 is a range rover size, which is about the same size SUV WK1 so I don't think it would look too big.

Any thoughts? Pics (on WK1)?

When you're going 22" I'd get that extra sidewall.

Where are you getting your height measurements from? Tire manufacturer's site?
