Its f-in retarded how these buff ass cops do absolute shit all day, then they see or rather 1st hear us coming then decide to pull us over. They probally think we are some punk kids. I dont even bother showing my badge to these douches. Can you tell I'm not a fan of cops.

HAHA no cant tell at all... I don't speed or drive like a dick head and still get harassed . Ive actually been driving on bay ave in Beach Haven with a cop following me and the car in front of me pulls a u-turn almost hitting a car backing out of a parking spot, the cop clearly sees this going on and decides to continue to follow me and pull me over.

I live in jersey, I am in and out of little falls ,cedar grove and all,over as I live in nutley. Police officers can pull you over and have the right to for front tint as well as loud exhaust. Depending what town you are in they have laws AGAINTS noise pollution and your not allowed dark tint around here in NJ as its a safety issue.
You should be thank full they let you go with a verbal and realize that if you get pulled over within 30-60 days from that you will get a ticket. All stops are logged in via computer in officers car and called in before they even talk to you. So even when they let you go it is marked down as a curtisy warning. Also if you are AGAINTS codes you should expect to get pulled over. I don't have my front tinted and I never get hassled. In fact most of the time I get thumbs up or even asked to gun it. If you give respect you will get respect.

I didnt set the Jeep up that way I bought it like that but I see your point. Listen, I'm no dick I drive respectfully. I'm not the guy that goes out looking for a race. I accept the fact that the SRT is a cop magnet.
Its fuuny when I had my diesel it had front tints and a LOUD exhaust as well. Got pulled over once in East Orange for speeding thats it. I never even had a front plate on it. I think its the look of the SRT mostly. Hell I'd pull it over to just to ask and look at it :rofl:

We all have problems with those type of people, in every field. Also in jersey around Bloomfield east orange and Newark they really keep an eye on our srt jeeps. A lot have been stolen and ran around, so they look to check that the right owner is driving them. I grew up in Newark and have a lot of family on the job in Newark and NYC. For a while they even had a do not peruse order for the jeep srt.
I never was bothered for my front plate not being installed, even when I was pulled over. It's all how you act. Though I like having the towns I drive through know my truck so if they ever saw someone else driving it they would question it.
My point was if you set up your jeep, or any car for that matter in a way to draw attention, don't get pissed at anyone else but yourself when you get attention.
Hell no way any of our jeeps get pulled over as much as the Hondas with the stupid exhaust or tint. Though they deserve it lol

I got stop within the first week of ownership. They couldn't see the temp registration through the back window. Second week of ownership, I was followed for almost 10mi ( from my job to almost my home). Each stop, I was asked how fast will it go, I said I don't know, I keep getting pulled over!:fight:

Haha, the plates work well for me, been in all sorts of NJ towns plus have had state troopers behind me at points, but never stopped yet (knock on wood).

And thats with the 426, headers, borla S, no front plate...etc...and like it was previously said, its all about how you act, gotta give respect to get it.

same here, I figure I would have 3x the tickets and pullovers in the summer but they're always in the off season. I have 10 pending tickets :fight:. each one below is spaced for each pullover and what tickets I got.
