Sound when turning off....any advice please?

Hey guys, just bought my first 07 GC SRT8 and I have a concern. I searched older threads but there are no definitive answers and Im really concerned because I don't know what this sound is. I do not know and my brother (who is a mechanic) has no clue either. I found this video from years ago of someone else and others who claim to have this exact same noise when turning off the Jeep. Watch/listen to this video and its what Im hearing. Any help on the matter would be really appreciated.

Thanks guys.

I believe it's the AC system resetting. Mine does it also. There's a way to reset the venting system on these rides. What I mean is..... if the selector ever gets stuck between say floor and face, there's a resetting procedure that can be done with a Star Scan. That is the self check that goes back to a default setting until it's cranked again. I'm 99.99% sure that's what it's doing.
sounds like my 07 its pretty normal imo friend has a 07 like me and his does it 2
My 06 does it. Don't think you should worry.

This sound is the 4wd actuator motor resetting into the neutral position. If you disconnect the motor the sound will go. This is a "good" sound for the Jeep as it means your 4wd system is working :)

I guess my 4wd system doesnt work then.
stealership actually took the time to figure this problem out

I took my WK1 into the stealership to figure this one out. The transmission guy was completely thrown off guard and any other mechanic I asked to have a look at said it sounds like death.

After a week, stealership called & said my transmission and transfercase were bad. They told me something internally in the TC was not working properly & was causing that crazy noise. They actually took the time to take it apart to figure it out b/c some other mechanic said that many others have complained about it too. They ended up replacing the TC & decided to rebuild my tranny too because they believed that any multitude of things internally could have caused it to go bad and that warranty covered it so they went right on ahead to avoid future problems. The mechanic told me the tranny was starting to die out cause the previous owner drove the hell out of it (this work was done a few days after I bought it).

TC replaced and transmission rebuilt, covered under warranty ((:) Drives better than ever & doesn't make the noise anymore.

I still have the work order if you'd like pics?

I was told that this sound was NOT good, by several mechanics at stealership and other various local places. Read above^
If you start your Jeep and don't drive it before shutting off you will get this sound. If you drive the Jeep before shutting off you will most likely not have this sound. There was a thread on this topic about a year ago. This is a completely normal sound. Read this post http://www.cherokeesrt8.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-59161.html

Thanks. Saw that, saw a couple of threads but since its 2012 now maybe someone has a def. answer. What kills me is that some say its normal, some say its bad. blahson and jjjeremy, you guys say its bad but others say its normal...So with this being my first I have no idea what sounds are "normal" and what aren't, thats why Im concerned.

Thanks.
Dealer tech note from a few years back:

Issue Description:
The Transfer Case Actuator for the NV-146 Transfer Case on the WK SRT8 makes a slight noise upon engine shut down as it resets. There is no need to replace the Actuator for this condition, it will not eliminate this noise.
