SMS - Text Messaging

So according to the online edition of 2012 Jeep GC SRT8 owner's manual on pages 132-134, we're supposed to be able to turn on/off the SMS Incoming Annoucement (receive and send text messages). Well, I tried, I pressed the UConnect phone button and then speak "Setup, SMS Incoming Message Announcement", the UConnect did not recognize that command?

Any of you with this feature activated? Please help me if you got yours set up!

Same problem. Any ideas anyone.

My research indicates that this feature is incompatible with iPhones. In our Grand Caravan, my Blackberry works but the iPhone does not.

I have not had any luck setting this up with my Blackberry in the jeep.
