Reputable Local Engine Builders ?

Hey guys,
Being my DD I have wanted to keep my Jeep as near stock as possible... but that didn't last long !! It feels so sluggish compared to my track car so ive decided to do a few minor mods.

I am curious to see if anyone has had experinace with a reputable engine builder North of the fence, or possibly just south ? I would like to stay North of Seattle and South of Kamlops/kelowna but willing to entertain others if need be. - I am located in Vancouver BC.

At this time I'm looking for a mid to agressive cam install w/ rods & springs. I'm going to go with either of the 2 tuners we all so love, so no need for local tuners, just a good honest shop that has experinace with Mopar.

Any good, bad or ugly's to hit up or avoid would be more than appriactaed !!

If you are going to ship it what difference does it make to location? I just logged into our Freightquote account. Shipping a motor from Vancouver - LPM in Florida will cost $238 and take 7 days.
Dings FTW, just south from you!
Holy SHIT!!!!!! 238? it cost me over 500 to go from fort mac to Alambma........Dammit!

AROD, drive your jeep to Airdre and me and a buddy will do your install, 8 hours and you will be on your way!

Wont be shipping, I will likely drive the truck and stay a night is need be. This is why I was asking for something local

-24 with the wind today on the coast ... I can only imagine what mac must be like right now !
I'll have to keep this in close mind ! I Make trips to calgary here and there so Aidre is only a throw away!

plus I still owe you that beer ;)
if you find one let me know....been looking for a long time. There are some shops I trust but non of them want to take on a Hemi.
Give C&C racing a call in Richmond. Im not positive if theyll do a hemi, but they build and race funny cars. They specialize in Fords but i had a cyl head rebuilt by them for my honda a few years back. They definately know what theyre doing, and are good to deal with.
one day isnt going to be enough time. You have 20 hours of labor just removing it and installing it back. About 20 hours worth of machining and assembly. Better plan on at least a week somewhere at a minimum.
This guy would know he does it for a living ^^^^

I live in Airdrie, is that offer still good?;) I haven't done a cam before and wouldn't want to pooch anything. Other than that I am fairly decent mechanic having built one truck from the frame up and pretty much rebuilt another lol.I have all the tools, just not the knowledge to install a cam.
andy knows what hes on about ,, i would take advice from him ,,
PWR can supply you with a grade A+ engine

Skip @ demon also has a maniac engine builder in the works,
