Problems with Predator cable...

So I purchased a usb cable and power adaptor from a vendor on Ebay and despite the claims that it works flawlessley, I cannot get it to work on my computer. Its supposed to just plug in and be recognized but nope. Tried installing drivers from the Diablosport site and generic drivers the vendor sent but still nothing.

Anyone had similiar issues? Of course, now the vendor is not answering emails so it may be getting returned shortly

has the predator worked before and you just replaced the cable?

Yep - predator has worked fine, and still does. I bought the cable so I could update the software and in anticipation of getting a custom tune.

the cable is really nothing special and you can buy it from any electronics store. its a serial to usb cable. are you mac or pc? also verify that the USB port you are trying to use works.

Thanks - Im using the PC for this as Diablosport dont have an application for mac. Checked the USB ports (all 6 of them) and they all work fine with other plugins - just not this cable?
