i saw M.s.H's problem, either using auto or tiptronic it shifts between speeds at 4500 rpm. when he restore the original stock tune the problem no longer happens, he tried the diablo tunes and other custom tunes and the problem comes again. any suggestions ?

 

something sounds wrong, 40mph in 1st??????? and at 4500 to boot? You sure youre not just feeling the covertor not locked and youre still in 2nd? If youre in 2nd, rolling, covertor will be unlocked, you punch it, rpms will rise to about 4500 and hold there, until the wheel speed catches up to the covertor and then itll lock (maybe thats what you think is the shift)?

 

40 mph in 1st gear is 6100 rpm.

 

he meant to say 40km/h, that equals to 25 mph

 

I here ya now that diff as if its in auto stick it shouldnt shift to 2nd gear unles you hit the gear lever to shift it. Now i could be missing something here on this.

 

thats correct, thats the problem. he doesnt know if its related to the tunes or is it a physical issue..
