Just installed a new MMX ported intake and 87mm throttle body last week.
it was good for 16whp with my first session of tuning.
that brings me up to just under 570hp at the crank and 455whp with the other mods I have done.
I have added almost 100whp with mainly getting the engine to breath better with no engine work like head work or cam.
With a tune, long tube headers, CAI, custom exhaust and new high discharge coil packs the 392 comes alive. I got 70whp just out of the tune and exhaust upgrades.
I have dyno video but cannot upload it for some reason.
Gonna run this tune for a few months and then retune to eek out a few more ponies if I can.
Just wanted to share what has worked for me so far because I have read a bunch of other posts that had a similar tone.
16whp does not sound like much but HP is HP just depends on what you consider value.
Oh, I have a stock intake and throttle body if anyone is looking for a set to get ported as well.

hope this helps someone else as I have dyno results for each mod I have done.
If you want a cheap 20-30whp buy a set of RIPP mods coil packs. They claim 20-30hp and I got 21hp with a new plug and coil pack upgrade. Cheapest and most cost effective mod I have done.

Looks good! Have you considered E85 for more power?

What mods do you have? Post a pic of your dyno sheets if you can!

So I have increased my overall output by 85whp. The first image is my baseline at 370whp. Second image is of my current whp of 455. The parasitic power train loss is 105whp based off of the factory rating of 475hp at the crank. So total crank hp is around 560hp.
we expect an additional 4-6hp on the next session due to poor air flow into the AFE momentum closed top CAI. The air flow was skipping over the top of the intake so we held a small fan up to it on the last run and that is where we got our 16hp bump from the ported intake and throttle body.
next year I will add an open top CAI and a demon style hood. Should get another bump with that as well. Time will tell.
Mods so far are…
HP Tuner unlocked PCM
RIPP Mods coil packs
NKG Iridium plugs
AFE momentum CAI
Stainless works long tube headers
High flow cats
Custom3.5 inch high flow exhaust
Custom XPipe
5inch slash cut exhaust tips
Ported intake
87mm throttle body
Stankey motor sports billet thermostat housing
Silicone coolant hoses
DEI heat shielding an a few lines under the hood
Eiback pro lowering springs
DBA rotors
DBA brake pads
Black ops sway bar links
Black ops adjustable A arms
Black ops tie links
Black ops adjustable rear arms
Per4mance rear dif brace
Per4mance front dif brace
Opti coat ceramic coating
And a very high end JL Audio system with 14 speakers a 12inch ported box tuned to 38hertz 4 dsp amps with 3,000watts total, electronic router to split the signal and 2 of the biggest Stinger glass matt batteries they make with a lossless DAC player by Astell/Kerns

that’s what I can think of off the top of my head.

Damn bro, that’s quite a list of upgrades and options. Very cool bro. Soon, I just got mine 5 weeks ago.
