Hey guys I've got bad fuel consumption.anywhere from 30 pluses per 100km and only as low as 19 after well warmed up.

Currently only have a lower temp thermostat so the coolent rarely gets above 1/4 on the gauge. Winter here in Canada and a intake breather that goes into the oil cap. And a b woody intake
Also winter tires.
I've replaced the ait. Sensor And no engine lights!!
Any ideas.. should I go into my intune3 and change the tire size... it's never been this bad in previous winter!
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

It's frustrating and seem backwards as while sitting still at idle I can what the consumption go it a tick every couple seconds while it goes down quickest or best while on the gas and expressway...I'm thinking maybe a bad injector??

High way high.. and irratic... I was told I have a bad cat but I just replace the one they are telling me is bad 1.5 yes or less ago..
No issues on startup . Power is the no smell of gas.. maybe a o2 or maybe even the cat... I'm gonna have to get under it.. no codes is crazy 2 right!!?

Once every 7 months or more I'll get a inefficient on bank 2... passenger side.. and it has only ever been bank 2... that resolved for the longest time after I replaced the o2's and then eventually the cat.. witch I think was a magna flow they said

1.6 kms per mile roughly too high... I'm not able to find out how they calculate that number though

Not sure how that is calculated as per the readouts we see

30 L/100km = 7.8 MPG
19 L/100km = 12.3 MPG

That is pretty bad fuel consumption. How many km's? Time for spark plugs?

They are new as of last year.. 230k in kms daily driver

May have gotten fouled up as I brought my own to a quick change and then had to go back to take some out...I figured it would have burn off bye now

Spark plugs, CATs, O2 sensor\s, check air filter if there's any restrictions. Maybe fuel leak somewhere, you wouldn't notice anything on the ground as it evaporates fast.

Yea my fuel trims are high and I'm hoping it's just a 02 sensor.. just got a p2098 pop up. Nice hr long highway run then after leaving Legoland and sitting in a Mc ds drive through for 20 mins thee code popped in just as we got back onto highway.. the cat itself is only a 1.5 years or or so... only ever get inefficient codes on bank 2 is that weird ?
I've recorded a bunch of parameters but can't read the all the cats though are virtually identical in heat..
