I am still trying to break into the 12s in the quarter-mile and considering a few reasonably priced bolt-on mods to help attain the goal. Who has this P5155177 Mopar Performance Transmission Control Module? Is it worth the money and will it gain me another tenth or two? Also, has anyone bought any parts from www.ONESTOPOEM.com? They have one listed there for an incredibly cheap price and was apprehensive about making the purchase.

You probably won't gain in e.t. but you will gain mph. It is a good mod though. The tranny doesn't seem to think about what gear to go in when you punch it from a roll. Worth the money IMO and most others as well. What's you elevation? You should be in the high 12's already

Wichita elevation is around 1300 feet. I ran a 13.04 with a different tune, a smaller CAI, a stock throttle body. I went and spent a bunch of money upgrading my CAI, getting a ported throttle body and hand porting the rough edges and casting marks in my intake manifold. I then made the mistake of going to a stock predator tune and overiding the unknown custom tune that was on my jeep. Afterwards, I was running a 13.3...I was pissed. Since then, I had Johan make me a tune and I tried it before the strip closed in November and ran two runs, both at 13.1. It has been extremely frustrating to say the least, especially since I'm the one screwing it up. I am about ready to just put nitrous on it, but I really would like to keep it naturally aspirated with "no tuning required" bolt-on parts. I have been apprehensive about putting an underdrive pulley on, because I have a $4,000 stereo system in it and hate to pull so much juice sitting at an idle with it spinning the alternator 25% less. I guess I can just add a capacitor if necessary.

Do you have an AFR gauge to dial it in? Johan can only do so much until you tell him your air fuel. You could run a larger ALT pulley to compensate for the underdrive pulley. Youre stereo system probably weighs a ton. Do you take it out at the track. Honestly for your weight and elevation. Your probably right around where you should be. Maybe a 12.8 in perfect weather.
