Hey guys I have a 2013 SRT8 Jeep. Its Whipple charged with a 426 Stroker. Was recently dyno tuned and ran perfect. The only problem is that doing a 0-90 mph pull the CEL will come on and blink and shut down cylinder 8. P0308. if i baby it for about 1 minute it will fix itself and drive normal. Or if i turn the jeep off and back on it will be back to normal. It acts like the injector is getting stuck. But ive swapped all injectors, coils, new plugs. Anyone ever had this problem? thanks Tommy

I took it back to the tuner and he said its a mechanical problem and not the tune. I still think its the tune. He said a valve could be getting stuck but you can race all night and its fine, but when you do a 0-90mph pull it will happen. I will have to check the a/f. Its weird how it like puts it in limp mode and then you can turn the jeep off and and back on and its perfect.

I have this problem on a stock 2014 SRT Jeep. Service (not Chrysler) suggested it might be plugs or coil.. we reset the computer and will see when the error comes back.

IMO this error may result under max acceleration conditions :)

Hey man did you ever get this figured out? Currently having the same exact issue with my 426 except it’s multiple cylinder misfire not just 8.

I had this happen on cyl 8 PO308 on my 10 psi Prochargered 426
It's blowing out the spark plugs under boost because the gap is too wide and they get wet which is why the ses light flashes then in 1 or 2 minutes it clears itself out and the spark plugs come back.
Check your gaps.
I think Modern Muscle told me on a SC engine to gap .030 or .025 and go down .005 from there if it persists.
I'll have to check my work email later.

Yes that’s Exactly what’s happening! I’ll check my gaps. I’m pretty sure they’re at .03 now. Did you have to go below that?

The ones that were cutting out were .035.
My mechanic regapped them but I'm going to change #8 out.
This is what I'm running that MM put in

If they're .030 I'd go less
