This poll serves the purpose of providing factual information about what percentage of owners on this forum have decided to a particular route in terms of performance upgrades. This information does not represent the WK1 Community as a whole, but rather the members on this site who partake in voting.

Also, after you vote, please post and state how your performance has progressed throughout the lifetime of your jeep. For example, I originally started with minor bolt ons, then moved to major bolt ons, and now a stroker. Also, please state why you have decided to go the route you are today, and why you have decided to make the changes. I have decided to upgrade to the stroker route because I originally planned on making an NA beast, but have since decided my future will have an unlimited class vehicle FI/Stroker.

Thanks Jim....that's exactly why I did it the way I did!
Option 3: Stock Block Major Bolt Ons (Heads, Cam, Headers)- heads, Started out this season as option 2 (CAI, catback, tune) ran 13.27 @103 in march. Since then, I have added Kooks LT headers high flow cats, 85MM TB, littleboy cam and a jerseyboy tune and my PB is 12.64 @106 and thats without the cam. I'm going to atco sunday for the last time this year and looking forward to recording a new PB with my new cam!

My jeep has a 426 w/ Apache heads and Paramount trans FTW!!
6.1 w/ catback, cai & tune

6.3 w/ headers & above

Andy had a sale that was to good to pass up, HaHa. Wanted to give NA & a nice sounding cam a try first.

Wife's 6.1 w/ catback

Jim

John since I only get one vote I voted for the 6.3 but can you add me a vote for option 1 or 2 for the wife's, its only got a catback. Will edit this after you see it. THX
Option 2 for now for i'm still under warranty but will go option 3 next year. End goal for me will be a supercharger or turbo with built drivetrain. It's going to be hard for I am also saving up for a house.
My Jeep's journey:

V1.1 = 6.1 w/ Mopar CAI, Corsa exhaust, canned Diablo tune (12.8 PB)

V1.2 = V1.1 + S/W headers, heads, FRI Littleboy cam, 90mm tb, Johan tune (12.2 PB)

V1.3 = V1.2 + Vortech V3 supercharger, Paramount NAG1, Johan tune (11.7 PB)

V2 = PWR 7.0 stroker + BWoody CAI, headers, PWR heads, PWR cam, 100mm tb, Paramount converter, Johan tune (11.4 PB)

V3 = PWR 7.2 stroker + BWoody CAI, headers, PWR heads, PWR cam, 100mm tb, Paramount converter, Wavetrac, King Motorsports tune (11.7 PB)

Hopefully I'll be able to run V3 for a while.... but like computer operating systems, there's always another upgrade around the corner. ;)
