Purchased an '07 about a month ago. Dealer (non-Jeep) told me they replaced the front tires so it would pass inspection, which they did. That's the good news. Bad news is , they are not run flats ( They are RS-A Eagles, for sure, but M&S, regular old tires) The rears are the OEM run flats with about 1/2 to 3/4 tread left them. Now I have 2 that are RF's and 2 that are not. My question for the Tire Pros is should I change the backs to non Run Flat Eagles (which everyone hates) so I have a matching non RF set or change all (4) to a non R like a Nitto420s? Any advise help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Up here in Canada you need all 4 as Runflats or have a spare and jack in the car to pass inspection/ Safety . As for performance Not to sure this is my first set of GY RF's and I already hate them . So I am waiting to change them for V-Reds in the spring

My advice, throw them all away and get Vreds. Amazing tires. Plus, you can get all 4 for the price of 2 new run flats.

Now there's an invitation worth considering gerd35. Is the M&G on Saturday or Sunday? I assume there's a thread about it............Being new and all this would be a good opportunity. Ty.
