I called up whipple to ask them about the new system to the jeep and they said that it will most likely be released in april and for a price around $7500. Seems a bit high right

Kenne Bell is the same price. You cant compare this to a vortech or a procharger. A twin-screw also includes a cast manifold which costs money to produce. A centrifugal uses your stock manifold.

No offense taken. I heard the same thing about it and would like to see it come out soon but we will see.

Damn these Whipple guys! They keep on egging you guys on...I heard the LX kits were supposed to be released in May of last year lol...well, I guess you guys will have to wait for perfection...

There is a lot involved with roots/screw type setup vs a centrifugal, not just a blower and intake but much much more...which is all needed to run everything properly...

well when i talked to the guy at whipple he said you will get 150-200 more hp with the kit right out of the box. so i take it with just the whipple and nothing else you will be close to 600 or a little over if you are running a stock rig.
