Long story short... have a high pitched sound coming from the engine bay. (Vague enough?) Wasn't sure what it was as it doesn't sound like the usual suspects (serpentine belt, alternator, p/s pump,etc.) Took it into the dealership and they couldn't diagnose it... they believe it's a baffle in the intake manifold.
They wanted to replace it, but I'm not paying them to do it. Question - anyone ever heard of this issue?
2nd - anyone have a lead on an intake manifold? I'll probably need some new gaskets from the dealer... anything else? I'm not familiar with the SRT8's manifold; only worked on LSX's.
