Just got my WK2 2014 SRT with 75k miles serviced and changed the engine valve gasket seals plus the oil sensor that where apparently the source or the leak. Jeep dealer here is very basic, have a few pics of the leak is anyone can give me some pointers on where to look, much appreciated.

Check the back corners of the valve covers. Feel around back there and see if anything gets on your fingers.

Engine valve gasket= valve cover gaskets?
I’m pretty sure that’s what he meant. The inside bolt in the back is very hard to get to. New or not I’ve seen more than one including mine on a new build leaking there.

That was for him to clarify, but yeah, thats what I'm thinking he meant. I dont know about that bolt though man, I've had the covers on and off multiple times with no issue getting to all the bolts, in chassis. If a qualified tech is serving that kind of excuse, time to find another mechanic....

The plastic valve covers on these are very easy to break. The gaskets that the aftermarket supply are ok at best. If you had a shop work on it and this was their recommendation of a fix, take it right back to them and tell them try again-on their dime now.

Last update, Jeep official dealer is going to do a complete engine and transmission dismount at their own cost, to review all parts and seals since they can’t get to the oil leak. Don’t know how much of a good idea it is, any things I should secure are done or changed before or afterwards?
