MyGig doesn't recognize iPod or iPhone

Mygig RHR does not "see" any of my I products at all. Both USB ports work with a flash drive but nothing with iPod nothing at all. Is there a specific cable from Chrysler that I don't have?
Oh also iPhone streams music through Bluetooth just fine. Any ideas?

Thanks:mad:

I know there's a recent software update for the RHR, but not sure what the fixes are for. Check with your dealer if they have the application version 2.120 for all RHR-RHW-RHP MyGIG units update. This one's on a DVD and 2.16GB.

IPhone downloading to HDD

Same problem here:mad:
only issue i've had is with a very old ipod. my old white 40 gig click wheel ipod isn't recognized. so i grabbed my slightly newer (but still old) 80 gig ipod from my gtr and it works in the jeep. luckily the gtr recognizes the older one so i just swapped them. i don't think i've tried my iphone 4 with the usb cable. bt streaming works fine though.

you just need the standard usb to i device cable. so i'd take it to the dealer if you don't get it working.
I've had no issues with mine. I have my iPhone 4S hooked up with a OEM Apple cable to the USB in the center console.

Silly question, when you connect the iPhone/iPod do you use the button on screen (lower left corner I believe) to browse the playlists and select music to start playing? That's if it's reading, not sure with your issues if that's even working.
