What do you guys think about running this in my 6.1, I bought it about a year ago and have been questionable about running it.

What is your reasoning for switching from 0w40 ? - availability, or do you feel the 30 is a better suit ? also what climate do you generally drive in, temperature wise.

I feel the 40 hot weight would be a much safer bet. You could run the 30 and if you find yourself burning 1/2+ quart between changes than I would suggest bumping back up to the 40

Just wondering if it would hurt anything, I have some laying around. I live in atlanta, but I figured that if I was going to run it would be better to use it in the winter.
