what is the max engine speed for a "built" 722.6 transmission?

A typical 722.6 will begin oil cavitation at 7000 rpm.
Our Paramount Performance fully built transmission has a redesigned oil pump that has been tested to 8000 rpm without cavitation.
The remaining hard parts we use have been tested to 8000 rpm also.
For high rpm use, please be safe and use a tranny blanket.
They are available through Jegs or Summit etc.

Another thing to note is that the tcm has an internal rev limiter that will put you into limp mode if you exceed it. Its usually set around 400-500rpm above the factory rev limit. In the Srt its abt 6700-6800rpm.

Correct....mine hit the TCM limiter at 6767 rpm per the data logged.

This limiter is built into the actual TCM JB? I was under the impression it was 6900. I have a log of a friend and he has a MHP TCM that I seen shift in 1st gear at 6850 rpm, so do those TCM's have a higher rev limiter?

Mine would let me shift high in 1-2, 2-3 but would shut me down on the 3-4 when I hit 6767 rpm.
