So I've used Lucas fuel additive in all my previous cars with great results (They were all higher mileage cars though 85k plus.) Just got my 07 SRT8 with 31k though and dont know if I should use it or not. Never had a V8 before and don't know if it really needs it or should be used with this engine. Thanks everyone!

Could you google it and see? Pretty sure I can't post the link to their site. It's a great product just don't know if its the right application

I've used it once before in my jeep on top of a heavier grade oil but that was to fix a lifter issue. These motors do not need a Lucas oil additive.

I've used Lucas fuel additives on my Jeep, Amsoil's too, I'm up in miles though. There's nothing in them that's going to harm the fuel system, it's just light detergents and lubricants. I wouldn't add any oil additives though.

If you always use Top Tier gas, there's really no need for any additive.
