(WXYZ) - Chrysler has announced that they will add 1,100 jobs to the Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Detroit.

The workers will be used to add a third crew to the facility. Both the Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Dodge Durango are produced at Jefferson North. The facility currently employs just under 3,000 people.

Yeh new workers that don't know what their doing building the new SRT's expect some QC issues.

That's about the same time as the new tranny plant in Kokomo is starting up with the new ones also I think.

Dont count Chrysler out!! They gave us the Jeep back in 06 as an add on to the SRT lineup.
They new Jeep wqas designed along with the other SRT's. IMO they just sent the 2012 out as simple as they could
to work out the bugs before there real goal is revealed.

I have no facts just a feeling but that could just be gas to!!
