I dont believe this was posted anywhere under the wk2 part of the forums but today from a good source i was told that chrysler will be releasing a super charger kit through chrysler for the 2012's SRT8 lineup. This will be released in future but i dont think it will be that long.

I believe there has already been mention of this on this forum and if I remember correctly the wk2 will not be getting this option.

Yeah, there was some buzz about this reported option last summer.... haven't heard anything as of late, though. But John's right, they will not be offering this package for the WK2.

Not all is lost, these kits should be able to fit on the Jeep engine with some modding. They are one and the same engines aren't they. The only problem would be the tune. Should be able to do a reflash at the dealers. Or tune when and if aftermarket tuning becomes available.

That blower kit is supposed to be on the upcoming 6.2L engine that will be replacing the 6.4L. It will more than likely be a lower compression engine that can handle boost better than the 10.8:1 6.4L. My guess is with the new Maserati SUV coming out, Fiat won't want too many roosters in the Hen House. A 570hp Jeep vs. a 520hp or so Maserati won't help the Maserati sales.
