Just bought 08 srt8!!!

Hey guys, just bought a black/black 08 srt8 and wow what a ride. I live in Springfield mo and have had it for about a month now. Thanks to this forum I did a bunch of research and got a few new goodies. All my stuff came in today

. Diablo predator, eibach springs, fr 22" in semi gloss black, Bwoody links and did the snorkel mod. I'll be posting some pics soon of some before and afters. Thanks for all the help guys!!!!

You bought the best year congrats.

Did yours come with red or black brakes?

Stoptech pads will fix that! Some of the late 08's had red brakes. Glad you got the black ones. Even though I painted mine.

Stoptech pads are the closest thing to stock for 1/4 the price. Throw some slotted and drilled rotors on there too.

That might be the next mod. Any advice on how not to want to race every time I'm at a stop light

I bought an 08 by chance also since thats was all that was bein sold within 250 miles of me and everyone says it is the best year.... Why do they say that?

Tomorrow I'm gonna be installing the lowering springs and the new wheels then i'll take some picks and try to post them. Gonna have to ask the wife how to change the pic file.. High of 35 tomorrow, gonna be cold in the garage but worth it...

thanks erald01, Found it in the search engine. You cut off the front of the intake tube in front of the stock box then take off water trap tube on bottom then attach a 3" hose and fish it front to trap air and create a slight ram air affect..
