hi, my opinion... LOL
honestly with these Jeeps....it takes "usually" special people to get them.
ie car nuts..... people that care about style appearance etc. ...and because they
are so damn expensive and partially impractical... the lucky ones of us that have these
SPECIAL Jeeps USUALLY... take real good care of them. I personally have 87k miles
and the crap has been run out of it daily... BUT.... I have always done the service on
everything over and above and all synthetic fluids, changed more than needed etc....
the Jeep doesn't drip a bit of anything, burn anything, smoke at all...nothing....perfect.
So, if you can verify the history of a vehicle as far as no bad crash damage, look over the
whole thing, check for cleanliness everywhere.... see service records, and do your homework.
I wouldn't be too scared to by one with 65k-100k miles on it, and you will probably
have a hard time getting a LOW mileage, super nice one for less than $23k.
...partly because in my opinion, the new 12s are so rediculously priced $60k+...it
causes the 1st gens to retain, and actually enhances their value slightly.
so goodluck, and don't let 50-110k or so miles deter you from a good clean cheaper Jeep find.

Use searchtempest... it searches all craigslists its how I got mine 2 weeks ago a perfect condition black 06 with 60400 miles for 22000.... you have to look for good deals but they are out there... I drove 500 miles to get that one but it was well worth it
