Anyone know where I can get replacement pieces for the CF interior trim pieces?? A few of the pieces I had were cracked or falling off so I removed them..

Went to reattach the good ones and can't seem to get them to fit now..

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Sorry bro, a lot of us are suffering with this issue and the dealerships overpriced parts seems to be our only outlet. We are just re attaching them with epoxy but it's far from a perfect fix.
I am seriously considering just ordering an aftermarket dash kit that replaces those parts. One of my pieces is cracked and the other split in two.
Hi everyone,

Just wanted to step in and invite you check out our selection of aftermarket dash kits.
2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee custom dash kits at CARiD
If you want to get some extra pieces that are not in the kit, you can order the whole kit by Remin and have them add those extra pieces for you at additional cost.

Hope this helps!

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't these items vinyl overlays? If so this will not help us unfortunately as the actual plastic part separates and the outer piece warps or breaks off so there is nothing but the backing left. If you tried to adhere a vinyl to the backing it would be inset too far and look terrible imo. Now if we were able to get a hold of reasonably priced base model pieces and vinyl cover those to be more attractive then that might be an alternative.

Hey @Fullslp1, these are overlays but they are not vinyl. They are made of real carbon fiber and come covered with protective polyurethane layer. That's just an option I wanted to offer.

Can they make the pieces to replace the OEM trim that delaminates and twists ?
Depending what YR you have there was a Recall that replaces all the Carbon trim for Free. If you have a 2012 then your covered.
My 2012 has already had the prices replaced once under recall. I doubt they would Replace them a second time, thoughts?
i've had mine replaced 3 times under the recall.

First piece was the rear passenger door, second passenger front 3rd dash.

Guess it wouldn’t hurt to take it by and see if I can get them to. Mine isn’t delaminating as much as the carbon peice is just detaching from the dash. Like the glue is failing.
Man that hurts to look at. . . . .read about it but this is the first time I am seeing what the delamination issue looks like. I bought my Jeep used and replaced the three front dash pieces with OEM as they lifted and the prior owner seemed to crack it in places by messing with it. Sux you are having that issue.
Crazy. I have the same stuff in my 14 300. No issues at all. Must be a Jeep thing.

It's always a Jeep thing. ;)
So has anyone figured out what the cause of this is? Is it simply poor craftsmanship, high heat, temp fluctuations, direct sunlight, etc? I'm trying to avoid the problem in my 2017, so I've been using a windshield screen when I park it outdoors.

The glue cannot handle extreme weather conditions. That is the point of failure. I have had my pieces replaced under warranty (even though I didn't have a warranty) and ever since then I have used a windshield screen in the summer and leave my sunroof vented open. Hasn't happened again.

For you guys who have had these replaced under recall how did you go about that process?

I called my local dealer and they said there isn't a recall open for those pieces??

I didn't have any issues in my 08 charger SRT with the CF but the Jeep is a whole different story
