A local shop installed a set of Bilstein front struts (the guy I bought the car from said the front springs are stock) - 5175959AC.

The gap from the top of the tire to the wheel well is now way to big - the front end is sitting way too high.

They also installed new lower control arms, so thinking that could also be part of the issue...

Has anyone experienced installing new Bilstein front struts and lower control arms and noticed the front end sits higher?

Reused the springs. Talked to the shop - it was on the hoist for a long time waiting on the ring and pinion, so we came to the conclusion that everything is "stretched out"... :) Going to drive it around for a few weeks to see if the springs/rubber bushings/whole strut assembly settle into place. The lower control arm have no influence since the bottom of the strut is attached to the knuckle.
