I'm in desperate need of front brake pads. I have an 07 JGCSRT8. I bought the car with 60k, I am now at 68,XXX. I really need these brake pads, can some one please tell me where's the best place that has affordable pads? All's I'm worried about is brake dust, I want NO brakes dust.

I'd go with some drilled/slotted R1 rotors, they are a vendor on the forum. Also a set of pads, which will eliminate A LOT of the brake dust but not completely.

Are the drilled/slotted rotors basically to eliminate the dust? If so, that can wait til later, I'm struggling with cash, so for now I'll just get new brakes. I gave Steve a call at R-1 Concepts. I saw an old thread with a good deal on brakes.

Call your local autoparts store for a $60 set of posi-quiets. Not the best stopping power bot a helluva lot cheaper than brembos. And 1/10th the dust.
R1 is definitely the safer bet as most of us would agree.

I just ordered r1 brake pads and rotors and them installed last week. They def look nice and the stopping power is good, but nowhere near like the brembos or even the ebc pads and rotors i had previously. But it's still a good deal and if you're looking for less brake dust, then r1 is a good choice.
