So my belt keeps walking off my water pump ever so slightly. After further inspection it seems my idler pulley has some play in it. When I took it off where the pulley sits looks like a portion of the round area is sheared of and crumbling.
Does any know a part number for this part of the engine or the name of the part?

After some more research it looks like I need to replace the whole water pump.

I used the Duralast 231133 when I replaced my water pump. My pump was shot and leaking so I replaced the pulley and tensioner so everything was new, but I think you "shouldn't" have to replace the whole pump.

Unfortunately I do, the shoulder that the pulley rides on is worn off on the left side , so I have a lot play in the pulley.

That sucks. Hopefully your pump isn't too new! How many miles you think you got on it?

It’s only 2 years old but I only average about 1k miles on the truck a year so maybe 2k on the pump.
