Hello everyone!
I would like to warn you first that my English is very bad and for that I will use Google Translate.
I own a 2015 Grand Cherokee SRT - 6.4L.
I have read dozens of forums and posts and I don't know what to do anymore. Here is my case in detail.
In February 2023, I purchased from mymoparparts.com left and right shock absorbers, original with serial numbers 68384342AC and 68384336AC ! I bought them because when going into bumps and potholes in the road, the car would rock hard and send me straight into the oncoming intercity roads. I didn't have this message before I replaced them, and I didn't have this message for nearly 2 months after replacing them with the new ones.
I drove for almost 2 months without any problems. The car behaved great already.
One day, at the self-service car wash, I noticed that a lot of mud and sand had collected in the cavity of my rear bumper from the winter period in Europe, and I decided to clean it with the water jet. Shortly after that I got the "message" and the car started to ride extremely hard. I started searching the forums for a solution.
I have checked all the cables of the shock absorbers, they are all like new, intact, without any violations. I sprayed the bushings with contact spray to try to remove any water or moisture.
After some time I read that the module with serial number 5035099ac may also be defective. I changed it too - there was no result. The error appears as soon as it is cleared from memory.
I figured the new shock absorber might have failed. I put the old shocks back in, but that was not enough either. I put my new shocks back on.
In other forums, they wrote about the control module 5035318AA , which is located under the driver's seat. Of course I changed it too and it wasn't the problem. The error appears immediately after clearing the error memory.
I don't know what to do anymore. I am reading various opinions such as cold weather with sub-zero temperatures (warm here. Close to 30 degrees celsius), overall wiring, acceleration sensors, timing sensors, height sensors and what not. In the end, I just spend a hell of a lot of money, and the result is zero.
The errors it records are:
C15BB-13 and C15BA-13.
I am asking for help from some who have faced these 2 errors and guide me to the problem because I have no hope anymore.
Thanks in advance

I would assume its still in the wiring! go back and look at all the connectors on thew shocks at the right rear and make sure nothing looks pulled rubbed or broken. The 2 codes are indicators that a sensor is not making proper contact.

Hello! Thank you for your answer.
The shocks are brand new as I said in my post above. On the old shocks, the cables are about 5 cm (2 inches) longer. The cables are shorter on the new ones due to the proven problem of rubbing in the rotating parts of the wheel and this has been avoided in the new part number shocks. The connectors - male and female look like brand new. The pins have no internal corrosion or rust. The adaptive suspension sensor is brand new, although the old one seemed fine. Not to repeat myself, but I have inspected and cleaned all the cables with plugs and there is not a single thing wrong anywhere.

Usually with shocks, or shocks on SRT or TH are the wiring and connectors. If you are sure that you checked everything, than the only conclusion I have is that new and old shock "electronics" are defective as well.

I hate for you to buy another shock, but you may not a a choice to trouble shoot this issue. If it's still the same afterwards, you can always list the shock on ebay to recoup the money back.

Hi there. Thank you for your answer. The old shocks and the new shocks are OK.
Today, finally finds the damaged wire under the vehicle. Somehow the wire harness was out of their pin-clamp , out of their place .
A broken wire was around the stabilizer bar and the big girder. We added cable and banded the whole bundle. We put on the dowel, the bundle where it belongs and I hope this does not happen again.

Thank you to all ! Now my Jeep GC SRT is fine, and all shocks works fine
