Fuel Rail Spacers

Hey guys, I'm installing a set of Fore fuel rails on my Jeep with the 80 lb Ford injectors. The shop just called asking about spacers for the fuel rails, apparently the 80 lb injectors are 1/4" taller that the stock ones. Anyone run into this before? Are there spacers available, or am I going to have to MacGyver something to work?

PM Harrison bro....I talked to him about this already.... They are suppose to be 10mm spacers...

Exactly Ace Harware is a good example. Honestly I would never have dreamed to call my customer about some silly spacers. I would have handeled it and moved on.

Just my 0.2 Good luck with the build sounds killer

The shop is in the woods of Central Mass, I am closer to them than any Lowes, Home Cheapo, or any hardware store that would have something like that. I also had to make another trip out there to drop off a bushing......so them asking me if I had spacers really isn't a big deal.

And why are you bugging me with your .02??......I still don't have my underhood kit.:D
GET CRACKIN'!!!!!!!!!!!! I got serious bling going on over here, and I NEED my blue BT pieces. J/K :rofl:

Phil,

Since you just added spacers to install your 80# injectors then I would think you would need long bolts to install your Fuel Rails then. Correct? Unless the existing Fuel rails bolts are long enough to go thru the spacer and still be able to grab a few threads to secure the fuel rails to the intake manifold.

I'm not sure, but they figured it out before I got back to them.
