Check out this thread! I know Patrick G was running a +4* FRI Little boy cam in his beast and also MJC, and HemiRamon22's as well...

Can't say I ever did it justice....

Multiple 12.50's (one 12.49) with a stock exhaust (w/ highflow cat) and Mopar CAI on a winter tune (0 degree cold weather tune) during a 70 degree summer day @ 1,100 ft DA.

This cam needs some headers and a full exhaust, and STICKY TIRES!

I had Vreds on and it will just blow the tires off at the launch and shortshift to second every time. Really gotta baby it out and roll on the throttle. NT05's would have been great to have.

The cam is very fun, and really starting to come alive for me now since I never changed my tune from the winter tune last year. On a cold night it roasts all four on the street through first and part of second from a dig on concrete.

If you want the cam to run great here's what you need:

-HEADERS (take advantage of that torque!)
-Exhaust (Help that low end cam breathe a little better on the top)
-NT05's or DR's
-Wideband with a Trinity for on-the-fly tuning (Taking timing out of the bottom may help with the launch)

What I think would be optimal:

All of the above + ported intake + DR's on all 4 corners + 100 shot N20 out of the hole! Talk about breaking a neck or two....

FYI for an idea of the throttle response this cam has...

One night I was stuck at a redlight, my friend was in the passenger seat fiddling with the far vent. His head tipped near the window. I descretely slipped my hand down and turned off the TC, and bumped the shifter over from D to 1.

Opposing light turns yellow, I get a smile on my face. Light goes green, my foot goes to the floor, and his head smashes into the B pillar creating a gash above and behind his right ear requiring 4 stitches. Oooopsies.

IMO opinion I think the +4 has no advantage over the 0* , supposedly more low end TQ , Patrick had crazy MPH and I still can't figure out how he manage that .

I think it was just the weather that had to do with his trap speed being so high..... Just imagine if he had a MPTCM then it would have been easily 2 mph higher at the least.....

My jeep runs 12.41 with bwoody, muffler delete, and tcm. Has more in it but like said above it blows the tires off. It does consistent 1.72 sixty foots but should be in the high 1.6s
You will get there and no converter needed either .
Check out these slips and a BS low timing tune and 11.6-11.8 Afr I was running back then .. I run the 0* Lilboy BTW .

I didn't have a chance to and still kills me till this day ;) , when i was ready i couldn't hook :( still none of the above mods . Here's my best slip that day and look at the 60' . My previous 60' was 1.66 . So my point is I will not go faster with a 500 dollars TB , UD i believe will help a little thought . Hey just giving you a heads up on savings as i have being there done that .

Thats a 11.9x to 12.0x slip right there with a nice hook bro.... Lots left on the table there....

Do these things lope much or is there anything else that affects streetability ?

Not much lope , Truck acts like it was still on stock CAM

There is a little lope to this cam, as far as streetability it drives like stock until you mash the pedal. Spins tires real easy off the line as well...
What else did you have done on the day you couldnt hook vs the day you ran 12.13?

I can get my stock TB converted to an 84mm TB for 250. It does make a difference if the intake mani is ported to match.
Who makes those 5" tips?
