I didnt buy this truck to be the fastest car on the planet.....there is always someone faster BUT i ran it yesterday. Below freezing temperature, winters on, track mode with full traction off. dumped it, a bit of wheelspin and off she went. 0-60 in 4.4 seconds and quarter mile in 12.8 at 105. Dont know any wk1 that did that right off the showroom floor with 2500 miles. I still love the wk1 and indeed had two of them but this is the fastest Jeep I have had to date.

great numbers indeed. there are a few WK1's that ran that fast in warmer weather. cant remember who. the cold definitely plays a huge part. along with altitude. thats why when the reviews came out and it was 80 degrees they were getting terrible 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times. get sum pics next time!

sorry, just to be clear, this was on the computer, not at the track. All tracks are closed here at this time. from what i have read the system is very accurate. Was also on a FULL tank of gas, me in the car (220lbs) and my oldest son (180lbs). I took pics on my phone but have NO clue how to post. I can email them to someone if they want.

Not that Dynolicious app is as good as actual track numbers, but I understand that it is very close. These are what I hit according to it last week but did not want to hear the "without a slip it don't count" so I held off on posting. 12.54 1/4 mile with 4.25 0-60

Hasn't the EVIC shown to be within a tenth or 2 of actual?

I wouldn't even try to claim that time...that's so far off, it's not funny. 115 mph ??????
There is no way you trap 115 mph, that's an 11 second run. I ran [email protected] mph using a 100 shot of nitrous......

I spent 4 years pit crewing for a super comp team, I am well aware of why it is important to have a slip. I was just sharing for the sake of sharing in a thread discussing non-track numbers. I have no doubt that at the track I will likely not see the 12's in stock form and will probably trap around 105. BUT since you pointed this out, as for trapping at 115 = an 11 second run? This may be the case for your car, but certainly not a blanket statement. It depends on where your car makes power, wheel spin, gearing the list goes on. Example, you will have a higher trap speed but lower ET if you spin for instance. Other examples, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo runs a 12.4 at 113 mph, the BMW X5M at 12.5 at 112 mph, Corvette at 12.6 at 115 and the Mustang GT500 runs a 12.4 at 117 mph.

Again, I was not claiming that mine is as fast or faster than anything other than itself so don't get your panties in a wad, the WK1 always has been and always will be far superior, but we won't discuss that here because you WK1 guys have a whole area to debate that right?

it's not a blanket statement... you were correct by saying this may be a the case for Phill's car...last time i checked this was a GCSRT8 fourm...so his statement pertains to what we all drive on here... we are not comparing track times of vettes and mustangs in this post...and i think we are all well aware for cars that run a higher trap speed that have around the same times...

again man I'm not raining on the OP's parade and i'm not a WK2 "hater" but what did u expect by making a title like that and leading us on:rolleyes:
