Have not. I have been relying on the touch less washes. Works OK, but I am sure I will start losing my trim pieces soon

Run your hand over the paint and you'll feel and hear the particles that are stuck in the top coat. Debris gets stuck in the paint from driving around and normal washing doesn't remove them. Clay pulls those particles out and makes the surface glassy smooth. Even brand new cars have junk in the paint from shipping and storage. Clay before you wax.

You'll end up with a awesome mirror finish. Especially one those black ones.

Clay is a requirement! It picks up all the surface contaminates when used as directed. My car had the clay bar on it the first week I had it.

Less than 1 hour to clay. Waxed directly after since polish or sealant wasn't necessary at this point.

Taking care of a black vehicle is an exercise in futility......no matter how much you baby it, clay it, wax it, detail it, go to touchless car wash, etc, etc.....the paint always gets dirty, show scratches, etc.
