Different lighting options w/ OEM HID housings.

Hey Dan (DcSpecial),

What are the different options we have for changing the lights if we already have factory HIDs and projector housings?
I figured you can still paint the housing right?

And are there any other options? Leds? Halos?

I just wanted to see whats available.

The main issues with the OEM HIDs is the downtime you'd be without headlights and not everyone packages them well enough for shipping.

But yes, they can be painted.

And we have played around with ways to get the projector and the high beam to glow different colors.

As for halos, there is currently only a halo available that fits directly around the projector itself.

Ok so now im thinking it looks like there are LEDs in there.
Im trying to figure out whats going on with the black Jeeps setup...lol

There are LEDs for the projector and for the high beam. Mine(the blue ones) also have the high beam painted and John left his unpainted.

Damnnnnnn Thats pretty cool.

Do you have a switch you push in the cabin to turn them on/off?
can they color change?
And when you drive do you keep them off?

I did a wireless remote on Tim's. You can easily do simple on/off switches.

Colorshift is an option.....you would need a wireless controller for that for sure.

Definitely show only as most colors are illegal to have on the road.
