QTPs are easy to wire if you are using their switch. Route the cables into the cab wherever you want to mount it and then hook it up to a keyed hot power source and a ground.

The QTP wiring of the switch to the cut-outs is all plug and play.

Can you show me where you mounted the switch. I loved having cutouts before but I don't know if I have a good spot to mount the switch in the Jeep.

Also - any leaks with the QTPs (like after a while you can't get them fully closed and sealed)?

This is the standard QTP toggle:

They also have a nice digital controller.

However, I wanted something a little more stock looking. And since I don't adjust my pedals I removed the adjustable pedal switch and installed this one here:

Took us a little bit of playing around sending juice through the new switch with some test leads to figure out how to wire it to work properly.

As for leaks, you do hear a slight leak when they are closed even when they are brand new. Really only audible at idle.......if your motor is stock. Add a mean cam and headers and you don't hear it :D

Very nice on the switch, looks great.

I had QTP and DMH before and had rattles and leaks. Didn't bother me so much on my truck but my Jeep I want to keep sounding nice when they are closed.

did these myself at my buddy's shop. wiring is simple plug and play on the cutout side, ran the wires up thru the passenger side floor board where the rubber plug is, under the carpet to cigarette lighter power wire. just put in a splice there. hid the switch in the little cubby hole by the shifter. Sounds great! All stock exhaust

I used the standard QTP toggle switch and mounted it inside the storage tray just to the left of the steering column. The switch is not visible and was easy enough to install.

I've had mine for a few months now and do not have any issues with leaks or them not closing completely. I don't use mine that much since it really impacts performance so maybe others see problems who use them regularly.

cant hear any leaks wih my DMH's so far. had em for a few months. I can put my hand up to it and dont feel any air at all. Turndowns soon to come. As for the switch the DMH is alot more low profile than the QTP. Both are great brands

It gets pretty loud with them open, nice tone with them closed (resonators are still in). Doesn't drone all that bad open, when I ran the Borla S it droned worse. If I aimed my turndowns outward instead of down it would be even quieter inside.
I installed some on mine but need to add turndowns. EEEK May have damaged one of the motors.
