I forgot to mention, a few days ago I decided to pull out the catch can, 200 miles distance I figure, about 3-4 capfuls of oil came out (plastic coke bottle caps). When looking in the bottom of the catch can, I noticed brass particles rolling around in the oil, can't be the brass fittings I cleaned everything before installing. Has to be from the bottom end, nice. The oil looks clean, very clean, and I haven't had any more exhaust puffs of oil since the can was installed, it runs just fine.
The oil I'm using, Mobil 0w40 european formula, has the api sm/cf rating, does not show one for the chrysler ws-xxx-xxx rating though, trying to find out if there's a different 0w40. I'm also using a Donaldson filter.
What's your take on this, didn't expect to see brass in there!
