Hi all,
I have a 2014 Jeep GC srt, I have a clunking sound coming from the rear on acceleration, taking off slow or fast it still happens. Tends to go away once it hits about 3rd gear. Ive done rear diff mount bushes as I was told they were worn, this did nothing. Now been told it could be drive shaft or rear diff but im sick of spending money fixing something thats not broken. Any help would be great please, Thanks!

Look around here , scroll thru the Pages in troubleshooting ! You’ll see lottsa good info! Also use the search bar And type in Mystery Clunk!

Start w a Rear Diff Fluid change , Sud go away if not then Check and most likely Replace the D’shaft carrier bearing!

It’s the drive shaft it sounds like the passenger side rear.... Drive shaft should be warrantied. Hope this helps
