a bunch of dealers do have an option if you'd like to drop a hemi into the wranglers...the guy who i bought my srt8 off of had a 6.1l wrangler for the winter built at the dealer near him.

Yeah there is a company around here that has been doing this for the past couple of years. I talked with one of the engineers. They are Chrysler backed... This guy took a 4 door wrangler and converted it into a 2 door and put the big bad 6.1l Hemi in it. I went for a ride and this thing was a blast!!

yeah the 5.7 is a dog compared to the 6.1L in my oppinion... i've had a couple 5.7's in chrysler 300's... but this jeep had the mopar performace parts and it was dialed in! it took off like a raped ape... mind you this is before i bought my jeep so... riding in it now it may not feel Quite so fast... i was trying to upload pics of this wrangler that i rode in through my autoguide app and it was coming up with an error. i will try again...

i drive by aev all the time to pick up my sister from dance. didnt know what they did till last year, would be a pretty fun beast to have for northern michigan.
